Meet the Founder
Dale Graham, CPA has spent a decade in accounting and finance, building and managing finance functions for founder-led and family-owned businesses. His foundation was in public practice, where he learned to identify inconsistencies, assess evidence, understand risk, and build finance functions that withstand scrutiny.
From there, he moved into finance leadership roles at private and public companies in construction and manufacturing, picking up the full range of problems that come with running a business (new credit policies, job costing redesigns, team rebuilds after key staffing changes, ERP migrations, and raising capital). Whether the question is which jobs make money or where the cash is actually going, he has been the person answering it.
To rebuild and professionalize the finance function within a business, Dale’s approach is to get into the weeds when necessary while maintaining the ability to step back and provide strategic insight. This approach is closer to how most owner-run businesses actually work, as opposed to a corporate finance department, and it is where he does his best work.
Dale saw firsthand how the finance function can lag behind the rest of a business, when there’s no understanding of what a job, a product, or a period actually earned. NorthPac Advisory was built to help growing businesses solve that problem.
